Show & Tell

Dates:
 1 "A" November, Tuesday 15
1 "B" November, Monday 14
      1 "C" November, Wednesday 16
   1 "D" November, Thursday 17

‘Show and Tell’ is important to most children.  It provides your child with an opportunity to share with classmates an object special to him/her.  In addition to feeling excited, proud, etc. about his/her item, many reading and language arts objectives are addressed.

Speaking in front of an audience with the appropriate volume and posture is not easy.  Please practice at home.  Practicing should be part of your child’s homework during days before his/her ‘show and tell’ day.  It only takes a couple minutes!

  1. Dear Teacher Mariana. Thank you for your prompt attention to our issues! It is quite difficult for me to understand which are the homework or classroom activities that shall be completed at home. It is possible to notify the homework by using this blog, as well as, the pages of the activities done in class, so the parent can be aware of the pages that shall be completed? Thanks in advance!

  2. Good afternoon. I agree with Maria Noya. Also, alertthat mi daughter it's not prepared to answer any question in English, less about a "show and tell" activity. I try to speak in English and she always says she doesn't understand a word

  3. Dear Parents, When I have sent a homework I have sent it using the blog and even the notebook. When is a normal activity, I have said to my students "just do it once you can do it" and plus to this I have gotten clear to them that is not a HOMEWORK!
As I have talked to some of the parents, I dont want and I dont need my kids to be stressed.
Any of the parents that would like a guidance with show and tell please do not hesitate to contacto your "delegado" of the classroom and that parent can contact me asking at the coordination department for an appointment.
    Best Regards,
    M

  4. Dear Teacher, what a shame!
Now I understand that they only bring books at home to review and study. There is not homework to do, unless you notify it by using the blog and even the notebook, as you have done before.
I do not want to be misunderstood, in my opinion the “Show and Tell” is an excellent and lovely academic tool. Go ahead! Thank you so much for your clarification.
